Hi, I’m Jacayia!
I am a lactation consultant and occupational therapist with experience working in the outpatient pediatric setting addressing feeding concerns like picky eating, transitioning to solids and bottle feeding. I also worked at Women and Infants Hospital (WIH) as a lactation counselor in the NICU. I currently work at WIH as an OT working with the postpartum population, specifically supporting rehab and recovery post c-section. These experiences help me to work holistically with mother and baby. I use my OT lens to think outside of the box with my breastfeeding clients and work to address the feeding dyad as a whole. I collaborate with my clients to create unique solutions because each feeding dyad is different
